PopCycle: Art Exhibit

The past winter, John Williams dove back into his Pop Art style and created twenty portraits of iconic personalities and musicians including David Bowie, John Lennon, Madonna, Amy Winehouse, Muddy Waters, and Marilyn Monroe. Each acrylic on canvas painting is rendered in bold, vibrant color. PopCycle marks the 10 year anniversary of the New Pop exhibit also held at Petit Branch Library. Mark Zane: Musical Performance

Mark has written 104 songs and performs over 45 of them live. In the tradition of Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Warren Zevon, and Steve Earle, Markâs original songs analyze American life through a sympathetic, yet sometimes critical, eye. He also writes and performs autobiographically inspired songs about love, aspirations, and everyday occurrences.
