The small group study will read and discuss multiple speeches of the 16th president of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. Considered one of the greatest orators of all time, Lincoln's speeches addressed issues of freedom, civic duty, slavery and the Constitution. Registrants will be notified of readings that will be discussed, how to access them and are encouraged to study them prior to the class starting. Tom Henry will lead this program. Participants should commit to all four sessions and are asked to call if they must cancel to allow as many people to participate as possible. This program will be held at Dunkin Donuts in the village of Liverpool.

Summary:
The small group study will read and discuss multiple speeches of the 16th president of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. Considered one of the greatest orators of all time, Lincoln's speeches addressed issues of freedom, civic duty, slavery and the Constitution. Registrants will be notified of readings that will be discussed, how to access them and are encouraged to study them prior to the class starting. Tom Henry will lead this program. Participants should commit to all four sessions and are asked to call if they must cancel to allow as many people to participate as possible.

Drop In Lapsit Storytime at Studio B Winter '19

During our first floor renovation Studio B Dance Company has offered to host our story times! They are at 318 First Street in Liverpool, around the corner from the library. Wear comfortable socks as the dance studio is a no-shoe zone. Their parking is limited--please park at the library if possible. Songs, stories, and rhymes for children Birth to 2 and caregivers. After Story Time is over, stay and play with your Lapsit friends and some new baby toys. Siblings are welcome. ALA's Every Child Ready To Read 2 Early Literacy Skills (Read, Sing, Play, Talk) are promoted in every Lapsit Story Time.
