There has been much discussion recently about fake news. It is important for us to know if the information we receive is accurate and trustworthy. This can affect whom we vote for, why we call our representatives and a host of other decisions and stances we choose to take. So what is fake news? Professor Tom Boll presents this program to educate people on how to determine what to trust and not trust in the news. Boll, a former journalist, teaches classes on News Literacy at Onondaga Community College and the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
