Liverpool will screen several animated shorts including: The Wishing Well - (USA) - a funny look at all ages of people. The film combines live action with special effect animation techniques. Onondaga County Public Libraries and Syracuse International Film Festival (SIFF) collaborate to bring this fun and unique film series to the CNY community. Beginning May 11, different animated films from around the world will be shown each week with a finale and discussion taking place on June 15. Discussion will be led by SIFF on looking at film from a critical point of view, what is involved in creating an animated film, and a look at aesthetics from the point of view of different cultures.
