Around the World with Animated Films: An International Perspective

The film combines live action with special effect animation techniques. The competition is based on local history. The first team to find all the markers based on the supplied clues, snap photos, and make it to the Retreat wins. A camera or photo-ready phone is a must. Using historical research and resources including the library's image collection and photographs taken themselves, students created a video version of the tour using iMovie with narrative and musical tracks. Patrons can watch the video in lieu of walking the tour or watch it while taking the tour. The video premieres at this event in the Carman Community Room.
